Watch for “SKIN DEEP” at the July 2009 - Winnipeg Fringe Fest Show
SKIN DEEP
Last year’s 4 & 1/2 star storytellers are back with more tales and music about the erotic surface and fearful depth of our human nature. It’s skinny and its deep. We will hold you in the palm of our hands and give you no quarter!

Our show runs from July 15-18, & July 22-25, at 7:00 PM, Aqua Books. TALES FROM THE RAMAYANA
February 28, 2009
Indo-Canadian Cultural Centre, 479 St. Mary’s Road
A repeat of a popular previous concert with Laura Cowie, Jamie Oliviero, Tom Roche, accompanied with drum, chanting, and harmonium by George Berman and Nigel Basely, and a chance to hear some of the verses of the Ramayana in its original language.
Note that this special concert will be presented at the Indo Canadian Arts and Cultural Centre, 479 St.Mary’s Rd, and will include an Indian buffet at 6:00 before the concert begins. This buffet is included in the cost of your ticket. Email Manitoba.Storytelling@gmail.com to reserve a ticket, because we expect that a large number of people from the Indo-Canadian community will be coming. Seasons ticket holder seats are already confirmed.
The Centre’s a bit tricky to find, even though it’s on St. Mary’s Road (479 St. Mary’s Rd). The entrance to the Centre is between Bain Appliance and Midland Appliance, in Old St. Vital (a little north of the St. Anne’s Road junction). Go in between the buildings, and you’ll see a large parking lot…the Centre is at the back of the parking lot.
